Project: Freestanding Hanging Flower Pot Stand
Learn the fundamentals of woodworking while building a beautiful, freestanding flower pot stand!
Perfect for patios, porches, outdoor or indoor display. Over the course of four evening sessions, students will create a finished piece from raw lumber using essential tools, joinery, and finishing techniques.
This beginner-friendly course is perfect for anyone new to woodworking or eager to get hands-on with shop machinery. You’ll gain the skills to build with confidence and create a display-worthy project to take home.
What You’ll Learn:
Tool and shop safety
Types of wood and their characteristics
Joinery techniques
Operation of saws, planers, routers, and sanders
Stains, clear coats, and finishing methods
Taught by local woodworking expert Jim Buday
