2. Purchase a membership through our Memberships page. Memberships are month-to-month with no long-term commitment.

3. Complete a new member orientation. During your orientation, you'll receive your building key, review shop policies, and learn how to access the space.

4. Complete equipment certifications for the areas you'd like to use, such as woodworking, welding, ceramics, laser cutting, CNC, or 3D printing. Certifications are scheduled individually based on instructor availability.

5. Start making! Once you're certified, you're free to use that equipment independently and enjoy 24/7 access to the makerspace.

After completing your new member orientation, you'll receive a building key that provides 24/7 access to MADE. Members may use any equipment they have been certified to operate independently.

Your monthly billing cycle begins on the day you register. If you choose to cancel, your membership will remain active through the end of your current billing period.

Certification Classes teach you how to safely operate specific equipment and grant independent access once completed.

Workshops are project-based experiences where you'll create something to take home. Some workshops may also include equipment certification—this will be noted in the class description.

Yes! Most classes and workshops are open to both members and the general public.

Yes. Members have access to designated parking spaces in the Lincoln Street Garage, located directly behind MADE.

Additional metered street parking is available throughout downtown Johnstown. Parking is free on weekends and after meter hours.
